The Nigerian Super Eagles, on thursday have risen by 3 spots to 64th in the world, new FIFA /Coca-Cola rankings published on FIFA's website.
Nigeria, coached by Gernot Rohr, is now the 14th best team in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Ghana, Congo DR, Egypt, Congo, Mali, Morocco, Cameroon, Guinea and South Africa.
Before this latest ranking, Nigeria was 67th in the world. In the international scene Argentina is first while Belgium, Germany and Colombia occupy the second, third and fourth position respectively.
