Due to failure of government to tackle the myriads of problems facing the nation, President Muhhamadu Buhari, in a meeting with a group of Nigerian Bishops on Thursday, was told that the country appeared to be under siege.
"Proactive measures were required to control hunger, hopelessness and deprivation which seem to have become the order of the day," they said.
The Bishops under the umbrella of Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, CBCN, also told the President that he came into power under the goodwill of Nigerians but that the goodwill had been eroded.
