Social media gives a very false value, and a lot of us believe all the nonsense we see on social media. 

I am never against social media, as that has given me almost everything I have today in my life. I scored my first major job on Facebook, I did my partial interview here.
But over the years, it is has been used to propagate the 'fake it till you make it' slogan and people only post their fancy meals or pictures of them at their very best here with their Christmas cloth. 

A lot of us struggle in real life, I do, I have projects that need funding, half the time I am broke, cos the only thing man can boast of now is SEED MONEY. I have responsibilities and people I take care of, that's excluding my own personal bills. 

Before you hop from inbox to inbox, trying to sell tales of your parents living in the village and or being an orphan, I am one myself and have been for 13 years.
The school of hard knocks is where I graduated from, I slept in the studio cos I didn't have a roof over my head, I and my buddies have literally seen it all and worked our asses out just to afford one meal a day. I repeat 1 meal a day. 

Drinking a bottle of beer was considered a luxury, even if you buy for me, I will rather trade it for gala and coke or something. 

You can't be hopping from inbox to inbox and all your pictures are pictures of you living the good life, don't get me wrong, but please instead of begging you can ask for WHAT TO DO or share WHAT YOU CAN DO to see if there might be something for you to earn and still have your dignity. 

Skills acquisition have never hurt anyone, I know carpenters who paid their way through school, handymen who will cut grass, act as gardeners during the weekends just to get small money, I have trousers from 3 years ago I still wear, I have seen people who work as janitors or even at bars, off school to make that extra, and their pride and dignity is intact, what is your excuse. 

There is a huge difference between asking your friend or someone you know for help or for a loan, and it's a different thing when you know you are incapable yet you give birth to 6 children and parade them on the street to beg and make gullible people feel guilty for not giving you. Get a life, please. 

We all must not be rich and we mustn't hop from inbox to inbox begging strangers.
