The Nigeria national women's football team, recognized as the Super Falcons has won 2018 edition of the Africa Women Cup of Nations.

It was a very disappointing evening for the Banyana Banyana of South Africa hoping for the first place but had lost 3-4 to Nigeria on penalty kicks.
Goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi, who acted as a hero on Saturday, 1st December, in Accra helped the Super Falcons of Nigeria to victory in the penalty shoot-out at the 11 African Women Cup of Nations in Ghana.
The Super Falcons who now have nine AWCON trophies claimed their current title after Bayana Bayana lost two of their penalties during the penalty kicks.
Congratulations to the Falcons.
