The candidate of the

The All Progressives Congress, APC's Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been confirmed publicly winner of the March 9 governorship election in Lagos state.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu polled 739,445 votes to win the top job defeating rival Jimi Agbaje of the People’s Democratic Party who only got 206,14 votes.


Mr. Jimi Agbaje has, however, congratulated Governor Sanwo-Olu on his victory at the poll. Reports says, he had put a phone call through to the Governor-elect of Lagos state shortly before INEC declared the APC candidate winner of the election.
