Tiwa described the attacks on Nigerians and other nationals in South Africa as “sick” and said that was the reason, she would not be participating in the festival sponsored by South Africa-owned firm, DSTV.
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has cancelled her upcoming performance scheduled to hold in Johannesburg, South Africa this month.
According to the singer who made this known via her Twitter handle on Wednesday said that she would no longer be performing at the DSTV festival set to hold this September.
“I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason, I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this,” Tiwa Twitted.
