Pop Smoke, the American rapper, was killed murdered in his Hollywood Hills home. The 19th February 2020, event appears to be a home robbery gone terribly wrong.
The rapper, born Bashar Barakah Jackson was shot dead by two men in his home, TMZ gathered.
According to law enforcement, Pop Smoke was at home when the robbers fired multiple shots into his home, hitting and critically wounding Pop Smoke around 4:30 am.
He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead - he was just 20 years old. At this time, it is unclear if Pop Smoke had prior knowledge of the assailants.
In July 2019, Pop Smoke marked his entry into the game with a distinct baritone rap tone and a drill sound that heavily borrows from the UK. He released his album, Meet The Woo - it was critically and commercially successful.
