Kano State has recorded two new coronavirus cases.
However, this brings the total number of cases within the state to three.
This information was disclosed by the Kano State Ministry of Health on Monday after the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari extended the lockdown.
“As at 7 :45pm, two additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Kano State. The total number of cases now in Kano State stands at three,” the state ’s health ministry tweeted on Monday night, adding that there has not been any discharge case or death in the state.
Also, other states in the North - West region with COVID - 19 cases are Kaduna and Katsina with six and five cases respectively while there are no reported case in Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States.
