"Fix The Country So We Can Come Back Home" Ghanaians In Germany Confront President Nana Akufo-Addo During His Visit To The Country (Video)
Ghana President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was confronted by Ghanains in Germany as he arrived the country for a 7-day visit.
Akufo-Addo is in Germany at the invitation of the German Chancellor, Ms Angela Merkel.
He is there to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of North Rhine-Westphalia.
A video shared online shows the manner in which Ghanaians welcomed their President as they received him upon his arrival.
As he arrived in a motorcade and exited his car, Ghanaians who were already waiting for him, shouted greetings to him, then told him to fix Ghana so they can return home.
They admitted they love him but told him he can do better.
"Nana, we beg you, fix the country... fix the country so we can come back home," the Ghanaians are heard telling their president.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has been in office since 7 January 2017. He was re-elected for his second term which will end on January 6, 2025.
