Europa Conference League Final: Roma To Give Away Tickets To Fans For Free
Italian professional football club, AS Roma will be rewarding their loyal fans by giving out all of their Europa Conference League final tickets for free.
The Giallorossi advanced to the inaugural Conference League final Sunday night with a 1-0 victory over Leicester City, thanks to a goal from Tammy Abraham.
This earned Jose Mourinho’s team a 2-1 aggregate triumph and made the Portuguese coach extremely emotional.
The club’s official Twitter account has now declared that all allocated tickets will be distributed to season ticket holders and given away for free.
The AS Roma English Twitter account said: “The club’s allocation of tickets for the final will be distributed among season ticket holders – with that process to take place in the coming days.
“All tickets will be free.”
The club then announced that all 166 die-hard men and women who accompanied their squad to Norway for the 6-1 loss to FK Bodo Glimt in the group stages would be awarded a ticket to the final.
A statement said: “The club decided to thank the 166 season ticket holders present at the 21 October match in the guest sector of the Aspmyra Stadion in Bodo by granting them – free of charge – a ticket to the final,”
The final will be held on May 22 at the Arena Kombetare in Tirana, Albania.
Mourinho and Roma will meet Dutch heavyweights Feyenoord there.
Mourinho paid particular gratitude to the supporters who cheered the squad on throughout the game last night.
He said: “We weren’t even on the pitch, and we heard them. The win was for them and my team. Hopefully we can go all the way.”
