Several worshipers were feared dead as gunmen spotted to be Fulani’s attacked St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state.
Those who witnessed the incidents elucidated the scenario on their social media handles as others tried to investigate the incident properly.
“During the end of the service, we heard some gunshots outside the church. Those outsides of the church asked us to wait a little more before we leave the premises.”
“Sooner than later, the terrorists infiltrated the church and started shooting randomly (non-stop) then absconded immediately,” a witness said.
Rumour has it that the Bishop and household were also abducted.
