NFF Warns Against Fake Accounts Impersonating Super Eagles Coach, Eric Chelle On Social Media

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has issued a strong warning against fraudulent social media accounts impersonating Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle.

In a statement shared on their official X account (@NGSuperEagles) on March 22, 2025, the NFF clarified that Chelle does not own an X account. 

They advised the public to exercise caution and avoid falling victim to scams or misleading information.

According to the post, Chelle's only official social media presence is on Instagram (@eric_chelle). Any X account claiming to be him is fake.

The rise of fake accounts poses a significant risk, as scammers often use such impersonations to mislead fans, spread false information, or even attempt fraud.

The NFF’s disclaimer serves as a crucial reminder for supporters to verify sources before engaging with accounts claiming to represent prominent figures.

Fans are encouraged to follow the official Super Eagles channels for authentic updates on Eric Chelle and the Nigerian national team.
