"Don't Spray Money If You Are Famous To Avoid EFCC Trouble" – Cubans Chief Priest Says Spraying Of Money Don Cast For Celebrities
This May — As the month kicked off, nightlife impresario Cubana Chief Priest took to social media not just to wish fans a Happy New Month, but to drop a serious warning aimed at the rich and famous.
“If you are famous, if you are a well-known businessman with an address, please don’t spray money. EFCC are not joking on this,” he wrote in a now-viral post.
The Chief Priest revealed he had a close brush with the law himself, stating, “I nearly go jail last year.” He pledged never to spray cash again — whether dollars, euros, naira, or pounds — and urged celebrities to rethink their party antics.
The warning comes amid increased EFCC scrutiny on naira abuse, just days after E-Money was reportedly invited for questioning over similar practices.
“If you already have an invitation letter from the EFCC, please go and honor it,” he advised, adding that he's now “working on another type of doings” to light up events — minus the flying bundles.
Chief Priest wrapped up with a final note:
“Happy new month fam, avoid wahala.”
