In a heartfelt revelation, the veteran actress opened up about her deeply personal journey, one marked by early marriage, motherhood, devastating loss, and unshakable resilience.
“I got married at the age of 19,” she shared. “I had three biological children — two sons and one daughter. Along the way, I adopted five more children who needed love and care. That made me a mother of eight.”
Her story took a painful turn in the year 2000 when she lost her husband, becoming a widow and sole provider for her large family. With the weight of responsibility on her shoulders, she juggled acting during the day and silent tears at night.
“I acted in movies by day, but at night, I would cry in silence, wondering how to feed everyone and pay school fees.”
