Nigeria UNIZIK Student Dies After Allegedly Jumping From Three-Storey Lodge Near Campus (Video)

Nigeria — A male student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, has tragically lost his life after reportedly jumping from a three-storey lodge near Royal Kitchen Junction, close to the university’s main gate. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, according to sources. Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed the student may have been under the influence of hard drugs when he leapt from the building. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel confirmed his death. While details are still emerging, residents of the area said they heard a loud thud before discovering the student lying in a pool of blood. Teacher And Partner Charged With Abuse And Murder Of 13-Month-Old Adoptive Baby

A 36-year-old teacher, Jamie Varley, has appeared in court charged with the horrific abuse and murder of a 13-month-old baby boy, Preston Davey, whom he was in the process of adopting. Varley is facing an array of serious charges, including murder, manslaughter, assault by penetration of a child, sexual assault, grievous bodily harm, and multiple counts of child cruelty. He is also accused of taking, distributing, and possessing indecent images of children, including pseudo and extreme pornographic content.
